Every 6 months the Momentum team bring together our startup and corporate members to engage in a social activity where they can meet and learn in a less formal atmosphere.
Close relationships are key to trust and trust is key to successful business relationships.
The Momentum Members Evening events are designed to encourage the building of closer relationships between startup founders and corporate leaders. The event also gives attendees the opportunity to learn best practises from each other and our curated panels on corporate innovation.
The social activities at each event vary from wine tastings and dinners to chocolate making and brewery tours. A fun and engaging way to network that takes conversations beyond the borders of work.
Our last event in January was a cocktail making class. This was preceded by a panel around corporate innovation best practises, moderated by Purvai Dua, Reporter at London Loves Business. The panel was made up of three corporate leaders who have all looked after digital transformation projects, and Simon Hill who represented the perspective of an established fast growing startup which sells to corporates. The panellist were:
Mark Aikman, CIO at The North of England P&I Association
Amit Patel, Director of New Ventures at Bupa
Simon Hill, Founder & CEO at Wazoku &
Gareth Williams, Chief Innovation & Transformation Officer at Travelex
The event is invite only and limited to 50 attendees made up of senior leaders from our corporate membership network. Momentum Corporate Membership supports our clients in future proofing their business through digital transformation & corporate innovation initiatives. These events help kick-start the conversation around the latest technology and process developments and what can be done better, as the business world continues to evolve at a rapid pace.
